The mighty Auckland Pride Parade is coming – rain or shine!

Auckland Pride Parade 2018 - Saturday 17 February, 7.30pm starting at Tole Street, Ponsonby Road

The 2018 Parade will commence at 7.30pm at the north end of Ponsonby Road, near the Tole Street intersection, before progressing south along Ponsonby Road, and ending just past Western Park.

A spectacular showcase for our Rainbow communities – with floats from Ending HIV, RainbowYOUTH, Body Positive, The Women’s Bookshop, Hamilton Pride, Positive Women and the Cartier Trust, plus many more LGBTIQ+ community groups and organisations – this year’s Auckland Pride Parade will be bigger than ever!

Due to popular demand, the Parade Grandstand in Western Park has been expanded. Auckland Pride and Rainbow Auckland are co-hosting the official Parade Grandstand area, so you can experience all the spectacular sights and sounds of the 2018 Parade from the best seat in the house.

Thanks to SKYCITY Auckland, the Diamond Divas will be performing on the main Parade Grandstand stage, whilst the incredible Annie Crummer will feature on the Oceania Pride Aotearoa float!

Arrive early for Pre-Parade Entertainment from 5.30pm all along the Ponsonby strip – including vocal performances from Leza Corban & Paul Voigt, La BOO Shay and Krissie Knap, plus family fun with the Pirate City Rollers, Magness the Mighty Steam Train, Eran the Bubble Man, face painters, stilt walkers, acrobats and more!

And following the fabulous Auckland Pride Parade, get down to Q Theatre for the queer party of the year! PROUD 2018 tickets are strictly limited and selling fast – so book your boarding pass and prepare for lift-off!
