In honour of Hot Dog Month, Brewport Ponsonby is launching the Jumbo Dog and a weekly Death by Dog Challenge every Sunday.
Arriving just in time for National Hot Dog Day, the inaugural Death by Dog Challenge lands at Brewport this Sunday 18 July 2021. Cruising in at 61cm long, the Jumbo Dog is a combination of 7 of The Flying Dog’s gourmet hot dogs; the Konnichiwa, Danke, Mariachi, Cheesy Chilli, Crunchy, Yankee Doodle, and the BBQ Brisket dog.
This Jumbo Dog has something for everybody and is the perfect meal to share with family or mates. But if you’re up for the Death by Dog Challenge, you must finish it all on your own and you will be timed by the staff. The person that finishes the entire dog with the quickest time will be awarded a place on the Wall of Fame. Their name will remain there until another challenger achieves a quicker time. Just finishing the challenge will be a feat… 2 actually. So all challengers that complete the Death by Dog Challenge will get a Certificate and a Brewport T-shirt. Will you take up the challenge?
